Maybe you’re a busy person who never makes time for themselves, and has lost a bit of creative spark. Or wants to find something totally different to do with your friends to catch up, or celebrate an occasion?
Or do you simply just fancy a proper laugh with like minded people, time to relax and unwind with a brew in hand?
nook is for all of you. Every single one of you!

nook is not your regular creative space, there really is nothing else like it in Inverness!
Pull up a chair, I’ll make you a brew, choose from our menu of makes, and you can enjoy 2 hours (or more) of time just for you, or bring a friend, the more the merrier.
Join us for one of our creative workshops, courses, well being sessions or social gatherings? nook is a friendly hub for all, you can drop in, unwind, and spend time creating.
Oh, and did we mention…. free tea and coffee!
The only rules that apply ….
No pressure . No experience . No perfectionism. No comparison.
What can nook do for you!
You don’t need a reason to come to nook. But if you’re looking for one we’ve probably got it!
nook exists for people who need a proper pause, you do not have to be creative or artistic, you just need to be you and we support you with the rest!
Here’s an idea: you book a session, choose what you want to make from our menu, and I sort everything else. Materials and tools provided and a cuppa made fresh for you. Biscuits always on the table, or why not bring your favourite snack to enjoy!
You just turn up and enjoy! No experience needed, no pressure, just comas as you are, pick something to make and see what happens.
Cuppa and create sessions last for 2 hours, but you can book more!
You can use the standard supplies or upgrade for more creative options
You can book online to reserve your seat or chance an impromptu drop in!
Inspiration provided or come with a make in mind!

Want to go deeper and learn a new creative skill?
As well as drop in sessions, nook runs a calendar of guided workshops and courses where you really get into a craft or skill.
These are small, friendly and genuinely worth your time. Some workshops are one off and others run across a few sessions, ALL of them involve a cuppa!

Not everything needs a project attached to it. nook social events are all kinds of different. Some creative, some not, all worth showing up for!

nook wellbeing classes and groups are built around exactly that. Gentle, inclusive sessions on a number of topics and connecting with others around these subjects as a great starting point for feeling more you.
